Bengal Bash

Bengal Bash was created to bring together all Alumni from Blythewood High School all because of a Facebook post. We had recently experienced another Alumni passing away and Corey Floyd (2011) made a post saying that we should put everything to the side and come together and celebrate. With that post and the efforts of Natasha Allen and Tyrissa McMillan (2010), Bengal Bash was born.

Bengal Bash Event Details

Date: October 12, 2024

Time: 12pm-8pm

Location: Doko Park, 171 Langford Rd Blythewood, SC 29016

Free Event for all Blythewood High School Alumni and their families

This is a family friendly event. Our goal is to come together to celebrate the ones we've lost and for us to connect as Alumni.

Parking:

Parking is first come first served and will be available at Doko Manor (located in the back of Doko Park)

T-shirts:

We have a BENGAL BASH 2024 tee for purchase! There are 3 colors to choose from and they are $25. Tatianna Owens (2009) at T.Katrice Designs is current taking preorders. Text her at (803)250-8861 to get started!

Smoking:

Please refrain from smoking as this is a family friendly event

Alcoholic Beverages:

21+ will be allowed to purchase and bring alcohol to the event. Purchasing alcohol will require your ID. Please drink responsibly.

Kids Zone:

The area next to the playground is our designated Kids Zone. We will have face painting, water balloons, and other fun activities for them to enjoy.

Alumni Games:

We will have games for Alumni to participate in! Class vs. Class is the only way to do it. We'll have games going on during the entire event, so make sure to get there and have fun!

Tent spots:

There are 35 designated spots for tents. These spots are available for $20 and they are first come, first served. This ONLY secures the spot for Bengal Bash 2024 and does not include a tent or any other items.

No other tents will be allowed at this event

How to secure a tent spot:

Cash app $bwoodhsalumni to secure your spot! Enter "Tent spot" in the description (35 spots remaining)

10x10 canopy tents are acceptable for this event.

Recommendations:

Chairs, blankets, hats, visors, umbrellas, and sunscreen are all recommended

Cash and cards will be accepted from vendors at this event

Make sure you have enough storage in your phone to capture all the amazing memories!
